I prefer Nikon over Canon when it comes to DSLR..but dang..this camera is perfect. It even has Miniature effect! I’ve been telling my dad to get Nikon D90 but this is pretty tempting too…… AHHHHHHHHH but I prefer the yellow strap over the red strap. AHHHHHHHHHH.

I was eating one of those Korean ice cream/popsicles that are made out of ice? Well..I guess they are more like flavored ice. Anyway, it was so cold that it burnt my tongue :(( reminds me of when I was little, I burned my thigh playing with hot ice.

What I like about summer the most is being able to do NOTHING. That relaxed feeling of not worrying about anything. I love being around my high school best friends because I can be around them being myself not worrying about how I present myself. Also, summer school isn’t that bad either. The professor is actually pretty laid back and even though the material is very dry and difficult, he does a good job of explaining it. I’m glad I decided to take philosophy at UCI instead of hum3 at UCSD :P I definitely have a better chance of getting an A here with this material.

Oh..and I’m starting work tomorrow :) SOOO random but I think one of the benefits of having your mom work at a Korean bank is that you get connections. So one of her clients called her today asking if I wanted to teach elementary school kids at some learning center she owns because one of the teachers quit.  I’m getting $14 an hour! It’s my first time working so I’m kind of excited :) not to mention it’s with little kids (though by elementary school, most kids get kind of bratty) I can finally save up money to buy a new lense for my camera! I haven’t been able to use my DSLR because my lense broke but I can finally buy a lense! :OOO

Also my cousin from Korea is coming to stay for a month.. I’m excited for him to come but at the same time, I feel bad I won’t be able to play with him..I mean he’s in 6th grade and I’m not a very fun person to be around..oh well :(( I will take him to Disneyland..and uhhh…that’s basically about it. I don’t know why everyone from Korea wants to come to America. It’s not a very fun place :P well at least in Anaheim Hills.

oh by the way…does anybody know Kaka in the Brazilian team:)!?!! He’s basically the only soccer player I know..literally. But I watched a documentary of him on TV couple months ago and I fell in love with the man. He’s one of the top3 players in the world and instead of being very cocky..he’s a devoted Christian who wants to become a pastor after he retires. I was really inspired by watching this documentary not because he’s full of passion, talented or good looking but the way he strives to learn more about God and how much he trusts in the Lord. He was almost paralyzed from an accident at age 18 but because he had his full faith in the Lord, he became one of the best players in the world :) danggg. it’s always good to see someone use his talent to teach people more of Christ.

Day 2 — Your crush

um……….. I don’t really like anyone right now..soooo I decided to write it to my first love God :)

Dear God,

Even before I finish writing this, You know everything I have in mind but it’s just nice to write a little letter. It’s been a long yet such short journey so far. I don’t even remember how I came to meet You except that I’ve been going to church all my life. And more than half my life, I just went to church because I had friends and my parents forced me. At first and even now, it’s impossible for me to comprehend that there is such a being who loves me so much. It’s hard even to understand myself yet You are so understanding. I consider myself pretty patient at times, but I would never be able to wait as much as You waited for me. So many times I turned away and tried to hide from You, but You were always there embracing me with Your Grace.

Everyday, I try to remember that Your ways are different from mine and that You have a great plan to make me prosper and grow. So I lay down my life to You Lord.
